It's my first blog here but I am a red head who just moved from sunny LA. The no seasons were annoying as well as the superficial people. I love the snow and the cold in NYC but the relationship environment is no better. People watch "Sex and the City" and thinking dating is NYC is easy if you are in your twenties...its not. As you pass models you lose any hope of coming on to guys and the construction works who whistle at you make you want to punch them. I was on west 34th street yesterday and this guy kept saying "shake your ass" wow thats charming isn't it? I am new here so hopefully the dating scene will end up better than it has started. But I am optimistic and excited to be in such a vibrant, loud, and exciting city!
